Byteball privacy policy

This policy describes the ways Byteball developers (“Byteball,” “we,” “our” or “us”) collect, store, use and protect a user’s (“User(s),” “you,” or “your”) personal information.

Users accept this Policy by visiting our website and/or by using our apps.

What is “personally identifiable information?”

“Personally identifiable information” (“personal information”) is any information that can be directly associated with a particular person and can be used to identify that person. A prime example of identifiable information is a person’s name. In some instances, such as the EU directive, an email or IP address can be viewed as personal information.

What information we collect

Byteball developers do not collect users personal information.

It is crucial to note that private keys are never transmitted outside Byteball apps, so it is not possible for Byteball developers to access a user’s coins in any case.

Use of camera

If requested by user to scan a QR code, Byteball app may use the camera on the user's device. The app does not record or transmit the frames anywhere outside the device.

Crash reports

If Byteball app detects abnormal situation or encounters a bug, it may send crash reports to Byteball developers in order to help improve the product. The crash reports contain information about your use of the app and its logs prior to the abnormal situation or a bug, they never include private keys or your IP address.

Changes to this policy

We may amend this policy at any time by posting a revised version. The revised version will be effective at the time we post it.
